Alan had several bikes, all with their pros and cons, and one day he decided to replace them with a single bike capable of doing it all. A versatile and well-built bike that would last as long as possible, one that was tailor-made for him and his needs.
He was always in love with titanium, and had recently discovered the benefits of Gates belt drives. With all that in mind, when he discovered our brand and specifically our Sílice model with Rohloff, it seemed like a perfect starting point to build his "all purpose bike" , especially if he equipped it with wide 57mm tires, giving the bike some non-negligible off-road qualities.
When designing the frame (tailored to suit Alan's body and riding style), we took the opportunity to oversize the chainstays, since the bike was going to be used in severe conditions, and also, he wanted to give the frame a special touch by lowering the seats stays in its union with the seat tube.
Here we show you some last photos of this wonder, with which we were quite in love when we saw it finished and we could test it.
