FIRST FEEDBACK

"Hello Roberto, I wanted to let you know that my bike is here and had its first small ride on my commute to work.

I will provide you with some feedback after I have completed some more miles.

Just to say I am very pleased with the geometry, build quality is as expected and the eye to detail wonderful. I was impressed with the effort you have put into packaging it safely.

You have produced a bike for life and I am grateful to you and your team for the care and attention to detail that you have provided through the first contact to delivery.

Kind Regards

Pete"

SECOND FEEDBACK

"Hi Roberto, I have now completed a fair few rides on the Roure, circa 300 miles, so wanted to give my feedback, not just on the bike but also the process of engaging with Nua. It may be helpful to other potential customers (as I was) to get them over the line.

I already own a number of bikes, road, gravel (titanium), and have been riding for years. I am reaching 60, so I wanted to find a bike that is a little more upright, Titanium and Pinion. The bike would be used for touring, road and off-road, and riding anywhere. When I started looking for bikes of this nature, I found very few providers of Pinion In the UK; I looked at Europe and, of course, the Pinion website/YouTube. I luckily came across Nua before they were on the Pinion website. Even though they were based in Spain and I was in the UK I was reassured by the number of customers from around the world regarding the ease of buying and shipping process, customer service of Roberto and the team. It was this reassurance that I was looking for from a manufacturer, together with the passion and a small team to deliver customer satisfaction to another country. I got all of these!

I then spent about 6 months deliberating whether I should go for it! I emailed Roberto regarding my ideas for the bike, what I was using it for and after several email conversations, we settled on the bike and addons, I paid the deposit and sent over my measurements. A few more back and forths, slight changes to the agreed spec which I added and these were not an issue to Roberto and then waited for the allocated delivery date.

The bike was released to FedEx on the date and delivered a week later. The bike arrived without any damage as it was extremely well packed, I had to fit the front tyre and mudguard, handle bars and seat/seatpost. These were marked at the height I should install it at, and was pretty spot on.

The bike itself: quality build as I expected, no rattles (with mudguards), great frame, stable, balanced and the 27.5+ wheels with 2.8 tyres are a joy to manoeuvre with light and smooth handling. I thought they might be too wide for my needs, but on and off road, they roll really well. I was concerned about which Pinion to go with due to being used to a compact Shimano GRX ratio on my gravel bike. I went with the C1.12 after input from Roberto and am pleased I did. The top gear provides a road speed of 30 mph before spinning out and the lowest gear is low enough that I haven't needed it yet. The maintenance/cleaning is a joy without a chain and no need for regular lube.

I find the Roure is my go-to bike most days, my friends call it a work of art and if you are thinking as I was about whether to make the move with Nua, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Enjoy the process and anticipation!

Pete"
